Golden Thorns emerged from the owner’s connection to the symbolic rose. Simply put the emotional connection she has with roses runs deep. Originating with her great grandmother on her mother’s side “Rosie Coghlan” She was a seamstress in the 30’s whilst living in Australia. Then when the founder of Golden Thorns Jessica Boribon was born, she was blessed with the middle name “Rose”, named after the same great grandmother. As she is following the same path as her ancestor, she feels a great connection to the rose. From there, “Golden Thorns” Was chosen as the brand name as it resembles the beauty in pain. Gold is symbolic of Elegance, Fortune, and Luxury, whereas Thorns juxtapose this with then representing Hardship, Pain, and Sacrifice.
