This designer's creativity relies solely on their connection to the theme. Old Holywood has always been a passion of the designers, deciding the theme “Hollywood Classics” was decided before beginning the academic year. Sitting with their mother watching old classic movies such as, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, “Morrocco” and “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” was a regular occurrence in their household. This sparked a love for detailed beautiful gowns with structured bodices and tailored hourglass silhouettes. As a Fashion Forward designer, looking into innovative and creative ways to modernise the garments was also a monumental part of the linear thinking process. Brainstorming ways in which one could evolve the theme into a range that is visually appealing in a complex and intriguing manner. Therefore, it was decided that the addition of 3D printed accessories and modern fabrications would take this range to another level. Living in a household with a Father who loves renovating cars and finding the cheapest way to do so, this designer has access to 3D printers at home as well as on campus. Therefore with minimal additional costs, this will be an amazing addition to the design process. Something that differentiates this designer from the masses is her concept of “Multi-wear” Designs. She explains this as, taking a design and separating the pieces into individual items that can be mixed with different pieces in the collection. For this range specifically, she is designing her dresses actually as two pieces that are worn together and look like gowns. However, you can actually switch the bottoms to produce alternative looks. She did mention that it is difficult to explain but hopefully the final products speak for themselves.
